Good Morning Magpie and I

This blog, Good Morning Magpie, began in early 2024 and exists to share personal updates, thoughts and opinions, links, and photographs. It initially emerged due to an overwhelming frustration with the Internet. After stumbling upon the beautiful blogging scene blossoming online, I decided to create my own personal blog and update it (at the very least) once every Sunday with a weekly report - which has seen different iterations over time.

I am still fairly new to this and I am learning all the time!

As for myself, my name is Chance and I am a proud queer citizen of Calgary - known to the Blackfoot as Moh'kinstsis. Presently, I work as a science educator, but in my leisure time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, going for bike rides, playing video games, reading books, and listening to vinyl records. As for my political orientation, I consider myself an unapologetic left libertarian with lots of love to green politics.
