About Me

I wanted to find a way to continue to share personal updates, my thoughts and opinions, and pictures without being dragged into the endless scroll of mind-numbing and infuriating content, especially as generative AI and social media conglomerates continue the process of enshittification on our internet. Good Morning Magpie emerged as a response to that. As for myself, I am a resident Calgarian, science educator, and an avid green social democrat. In my free time, I enjoy birdwatching, biking, playing video games, reading, listening to vinyl records, and exploring the city.
