Weekly Report: November 11th - November 17th 2024

The Week in Summary:

  • On Monday, we went down to Central Memorial Park with Krystal and Dan for our neighbourhood Remembrance Day ceremony. Afterwards we ate lunch at Porch and enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. For the evening, we jumped into a Discord chat with a bunch of our friends and chatted for a few hours whilst gaming.
  • For Tuesday and Wednesday, I was still off work for the autumn break, so I went to a doctor's appointment on Tuesday, started reading Sunil Amrith's The Burning World: A History, played games, and went to a Vietnamese restaurant.
  • The work week was fine, though I had a fairly low energy and an irritable mood most of the time. Additionally, it was Kenji's last day of working with us on Friday and I'm going to miss the hell out of my buddy. In any case, I am wishing him well in his next job!
  • For the weekend, I did not get out much. On Saturday, I mostly stayed at home alone playing games, listening to records, and reading, but Krystal and I did an afternoon walk down to Kensington (which was very appreciated). For Sunday, Taylor was home and puttered around (as per Sunday tradition), but mostly, Taylor played Elden Ring and I listened to Arthur C. Brooks' Build the Life You Want: The Art and Science of Getting Happier, and picked up American Football's self-titled album.
  • The past few weeks have been challenging for my anxiety and mood, but I am hopeful and continuing to maintain some of the useful habits I have cultivated recently, like writing in my gratitude journal and eating a healthy diet. That being said, I need to get into a sustainable cardio exercise routine (something that isn't too hard on my body either).

Here’s Why I Decided To Buy ‘InfoWars’
Today we celebrate a new addition to the Global Tetrahedron LLC family of brands. And let me say, I really do see it as a family. Much like family members, our brands are abstract nodes of wealth, interchangeable assets for their patriarch to absorb and discard according to the opaque whims of the market. And […]
