✨ Happenings

  • Much of this week was spent grieving the loss of Taylor's grandfather who passed away on Wednesday. I do not want to speak too much regarding the matter here, as it is a family affair, but please send your thoughts and prayers to our family during this time of mourning.
  • I worked at the science centre (only a couple days left), got a lot of errands done for cleaning the condo, played Dark Souls, listened to vinyl records, celebrated Taylor proper birthday, and went for a doctor's appointment for my muffled hearing.
  • On the weekend, I spent Saturday at home and the neighbourhood, but mostly, I was blessed to have a lot of wonderful quality time with Taylor. For Sunday, Katelyn and I went shopping together at Eight Ounce Coffee, Tea Trader, and Crossroads Market. We also had Jan, James, and Judy stop over for quality time together.
  • For reading, I finished Pema Chödrön's Comfortable with Uncertainty: 108 Teachings on Cultivating Fearlessness and Compassion. As for video games, I beat Dark Souls Remastered and started playing Dark Souls II: Scholars of the First Sin.

👣 Taylor's Footnotes

  • This has been a hard week. I won't be sharing much because I don't really have the bandwidth for it. I hope to down the road though. Thank you to everyone who shared a message with me - even if I couldn't return the phone call or the text, it meant a lot to be seen. Take care of yourselves, and each other. There is never enough time.
