Weeknotes: March 16th - March 22nd 2026
Disclaimer: It should be mentioned that Weeknotes are always a snapshot of the week itself and lack the fullness of life - as is the case with any personal blogging.
✨ Happenings
- Pretty easy going workweek. As far as those evenings are concerned, I finished playing Ghost of Yotei, went for bubble tea with Alexis, and got my bike tuned-up for the upcoming season (with a new carbon belt drive).
- With Friday being the first day of my spring break, I spent the day doing a deep clean of the condo and airing it out (which worked well given the great weather). I managed to get a lot of reading done with breaks in between cleaning tasks too.
- For Saturday, Katelyn and I started the morning by going bouldering at the gym. For lunch, we joined Ang and Seb for dim sum at Silver Dragon Restaurant in Chinatown, with some shopping and bubble tea afterwards. In the afternoon, I finished reading Annalee Newitz' Automatic Noodle and puttered around for the rest of the day. On Sunday, I went for a morning bike ride to Bike & Brew to look at getting a new helmet (nothing caught my eye) and spent a lot of the day playing Stalker 2.
- For books, I finished reading Heather Ann Thompson's Fear and Fury: The Reagan Eighties, the Bernie Goetz Shootings, and the Rebirth of White Rage and Annalee Newitz' Automatic Noodle. As for video games, I managed to beat Ghost of Yotei early in the week, and I started playing Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

👣 Taylor's Footnotes
- I missed out on a number of things this week to attend a work conference in town, and the Two Spirit Gathering I was invited to as a guest. Both were incredible events. Looking forward to taking a day or two off to recoup with Chance this week. <3
